The Story...
Photographer, Jessica Ann White, grew up in Sacramento with her mother and father working together to instill her with values on life and love. Of the many things she learned, one concept pushed her to evaluate the potential of her photography: all life's gifts can be used towards a greater purpose...

In 2007 Jessica's mother, Sally Ann White, was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. As she watched her mother bravely face the disease, Jessica witnessed a strength and beauty far beyond what words can describe. Though the future seemed uncertain at times, Sally remained optimistic, and full of faith. When she lost her battle on July 26, 2008, she was ready, and her fight was one to be remembered.

"Consider Difference" was started mid-2009 by Jessica, in hopes of utilizing her photography to do something more. In loving memory of Sally Ann White, the goal of the project is to showcase the beauty and strength of Lung Cancer fighters and survivors. A series of photographs will be shot and compiled, to create a collection of life. In some cases, accompanying the photographs will be the stories of their subjects**

Eventually, the collection will be published and sold, and all proceeds given to help fund lung cancer research.

What I need from you: Volunteers to be photographed!
I would love for the opportunity to spend some time with you and take your portrait for this project. I hope to share a little piece of who I am to help make a difference, and I would be exceedingly grateful for anyone willing to do the same. We can work together to achieve a greater purpose, and help build a better future, one photo at a time.

Please take some time to consider the difference we could make.

**It is important to note that there is NO obligation to share any stories about you or your photograph. This will be purely at the discretion of the participant.
